Kelly Crigger is one of those guys you would hate if it weren’t for him being so damned cool. You know the guys I’m talking about. They’re smart, disciplined, successful, charismatic, good looking, and worse of all…they could totally kick your ass. Lucky for Kelly, all of this “being way better than you” excellence is forgiven because he’s just impossible to dislike. How many people can list Officer in the US Army, successful freelance writer, published author, and VP of Communications for Alchemist on their resume?
Kelly is a man that is obviously motivated to produce work and create something of value. One that is passionate about certain things in life and we are fortunate enough that he shares his insight and love of the MMA game with everyone willing to read his articles or books.
Kelly wrote “Title Shot: Into the Shark Tank of Mixed Martial Arts”, published by Victory Belt books in 2008. He also co-wrote two books with Greg Jackson of Jackson MMA, one dedicated to the stand up game and the other geared toward the ground game. His next book is a bit of a departure from the MMA subject matter. Due out in October is “Dark World”, a collaborative effort with Zak Bagans of the television show “Ghost Adventures”. This book focuses on the very popular topic of paranormal investigation. You can pre-order your copy of “Dark World” or pick up one of Kelly’s other books at amazon.com or Barnes & Noble. Kelly also worked with the folks at mmaworldwide.com on their upcoming issue of TapouT Magazine that is dedicated and geared toward the U.S. Military.
Check out Kelly on his website at http://www.kellycrigger.com . Make sure you visit my favorite part, the UA Project tab on his site. Kelly created “The Unapologetically American” project that allows proud Americans to show that pride on their clothing as well as donating proceeds from T-shirt sales to help support the under-appreciated US Soldier.
